Lancaster Observatory Design
Living in Philadelphia, I see a lot of decay within the city. My goal was to create an observatory in a decaying area. This observatory of wind is designed to sit on a site in West Philly. My observatory follows a pattern of rotating rectangles that is broken down by the vertical circulation throughout the observatory. On the top floor, the space is built for observation and solitude.
